(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has confirmed a few details about a potential shooting that took place near Mitchell High School on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Just after 11:00 p.m., CSPD got a call reporting gunshots fired in the 1200 Block of Potter Drive, near the intersection of Galley and South Academy Boulevard. When they got there, officers found one person dead with at least one gunshot wound, and another with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The surviving victim was taken to a hospital for their injuries, while the CSPD Homicide Unit took over the investigation. No other injuries or identities have been revealed as of the morning of Sept. 8…
