(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A man has been arrested after a domestic violence altercation spilled over onto his balcony.
A little after 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, the Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center got a call from a business that informed them that an employee of theirs came to work with injuries from an alleged domestic violence situation at their apartment in the 6200 Block of Barnes Road, across the road from Weidner Field.
According to the official report from the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers discovered through their investigation that the victim had been strangled and attempted to get away from their apartment and their attacker by climbing off their third-story balcony.
