CSPD: Search underway for two teenage escapees

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is searching for two 17-year-old boys who escaped from the Spring Creek Youth Services Center in Colorado Springs on Monday, Sept. 22.

Dameron Carbajal and Cristian Jarmillo were seen on video walking away from the facility on Monday, just after 1 p.m.

Carbajal is described as Hispanic, 5’5″ tall, and 150 lbs. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater and black jeans. He is serving a five-year sentence after being convicted of attempted murder in Pueblo County.

Jarmillo is described as Hispanic, 5’7″ tall, and 170 lbs. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a mustache. He was also last seen wearing a gray sweater and black jeans. He is serving a four-year sentence after being convicted of felony kidnapping in Pueblo County.

Both are considered dangerous, and if anyone sees them, they are urged not to approach but to call 911 immediately.
