(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) crews rescued a deer that had gotten stuck between the rods of an iron fence in the Broadmoor area on Saturday, Sept. 27, according to CSFD.
According to CSFD, a neighbor in the area called and reported the deer stuck in the fence on Saturday evening, and Truck 4 responded and worked carefully to widen the rods of the fence enough for the deer to free itself.
CSFD noted that a second deer, the faithful friend of the trapped deer, never left its side and waited patiently until they could both run free together.
