(COLORADO SPRINGS) — What was originally a trespassing arrest turned a bit more complicated on Friday, Sept. 26.
Just before 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers were sent near 11000 Voyager Parkway, just off of I-25, to look into a report of a man trespassing and damaging property.
The man, now identified as 46-year-old Warren Weathers, resisted the responding officers but was arrested. According to the official report, Weathers assaulted two CSPD officers while at a hospital after his arrest, then assaulted an El Paso County Deputy upon reaching the El Paso County Jail…
