(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A man has been arrested after allegedly running from a traffic stop and then barricading himself inside his apartment once police located him.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), around 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, officers tried to pull over a car but the driver, identified as Shawn Swanson, fled from officers. After a follow-up investigation, officers located Swanson’s car at his home on Western Drive, near Platte Avenue and Peterson Road.
Swanson was found to have a felony warrant, CSPD said. Swanson reportedly refused to come out of his apartment, and officers eventually forced their way into the apartment.
