(PUEBLO, Colo) — Two teenage boys who allegedly escaped from a Colorado Springs youth detention facility back in September were caught in Pueblo overnight on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), which is part of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, teamed up with other Task Force officers from the surrounding area, along with Deputy U.S. Marshals, to arrest Dameron Carbajal and Cristian Jaramillo, both 17, on Wednesday.
According to PCSO, just after 12 a.m., the team of law enforcement went to an apartment in the 1000 block of West 13th Street, which is located in Pueblo’s Northside, west of Mineral Palace Park, after receiving information that the two teenage fugitives from Pueblo were inside.
