The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a suspicious death investigation following an incident in the Stratmoor Hills area. On late Tuesday afternoon, after a call requesting medical assistance was placed to the regional communications center, emergency responders from the Stratmoor Hills Fire Department were dispatched to a residence on the 4000 block of Loomis Avenue. Upon their arrival, they found an adult female deceased and swiftly deemed the situation as suspicious, which led them to promptly call law enforcement for further investigation.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived and began to meticulously examine the scene. Their preliminary assessment revealed no immediate threat to the surrounding community.
