DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s Halloween weekend celebration continued Sunday, causing law enforcement to send a message of caution ahead of the release of reports showing how many DUI arrests were made.
Nationwide, 44% of arrests on Halloween weekend typically involve drunk drivers.

“We definitely see the increase of DUI numbers this long weekend. We see, unfortunately, the crashes go up,” Colorado State Patrol spokesperson Ivan Alvarado told FOX31.
