El Paso County Deputies Help Locate Missing Oklahoma Children, Ensure Their Safety Locally

On November 2, 2025, Danielle LeGrande, 30, called El Paso County authorities in Colorado. She reported being followed and threatened. The call ended suddenly. A family member then used a phone location app to contact dispatchers. LeGrande was listed as a missing person from Tecumseh, Oklahoma. She was traveling with three children, all considered missing and endangered.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and Oklahoma authorities worked together. They found LeGrande and the three children safe in Colorado Springs. LeGrande was taken for a mental health evaluation. She was later booked on a no-bond warrant from Oklahoma. One child was released to their father. The other two children were placed in the care of the Department of Human Services…
