COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A company that describes itself as “critical” in chip and semiconductor manufacturing has a newly operational facility in Colorado Springs.
Entegris leaders held a ribbon cutting Wednesday morning at the new facility off Rockrimmon Boulevard. The facility broke ground nearly two years ago.
The addition captured the attention of Governor Polis in 2022, when he attended the groundbreaking and credited the federal CHIPS and Science Act. That legislation allocated $280 billion in new funds to boost research and manufacturing of semiconductors in the U.S…
