Over the weekend, Teller County residents, volunteers, and county employees participated in a Walmart Food Drive to support families affected by the ongoing SNAP benefit disruption. The event drew many community members who donated food from early morning until noon. The collected supplies were used to restock local pantry shelves.
Local nonprofits, pantry partners, and county staff worked together to collect and distribute goods across Teller County.
