(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade hosted a public safety legislative tour with lawmakers from across the state on Friday, Nov. 7.
Throughout the tour, elected officials visited local businesses in Colorado Springs to review how recent policies have affected them and how they can work together to strengthen both safety and economic vitality in Colorado. Legislators were also able to get a first-hand look and experience the challenges businesses face in regards to crime, such as theft, and how it has had an impact on the business as a whole.
