Highlands Ranch man found guilty of assaulting mother of his child

DENVER (KDVR) — A 24-year-old man was found guilty by a Douglas County jury earlier this month of assaulting the mother of his child while she was holding their 11-month-old baby.

The man, identified as Keyahn Golgoon of Highlands Ranch, was convicted of second-degree assault, third-degree assault and child abuse, according to the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Golgoon, according to testimony, attacked the mother of his child in August 2024 at her home in Highlands Ranch after she confronted him about household chores.
