(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — A suspect has been arrested on murder charges in connection with a woman’s death that was deemed suspicious in Stratmoor Hills on Oct. 31.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO), 32-year-old Cameron Burton has been arrested on numerous charges, including First-Degree Murder in the death of 38-year-old Yetzabel Quinones at a home on Loomis Avenue, off of B Street and South Academy Boulevard.

Deputies originally responded on the afternoon of Oct. 31 after the Stramoor Hills Fire Department requested law enforcement personnel due to the suspicious nature of a medical call for help. When deputies arrived at the home, they found Quinones dead and launched an investigation.
While Quinones’ official cause and manner of death have not been released by the El Paso County Coroner, EPSO said evidence was gathered that supported an arrest warrant for Burton on charges of First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, and Burglary.
Burton was taken into custody on Monday, Nov. 11, by the EPSO SWAT Team in the 4200 block of Loomis Avenue. He is being held in the El Paso County Jail without bond…
