CSPD: Man arrested for threatening neighbor with machete

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A man has been arrested after he allegedly threatened his neighbor with a machete knife before being captured the following day once again running through his neighborhood with the same knife.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to a disturbance call on Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the 2300 block of West Kiowa Street, in Old Colorado City. An investigation revealed that a man, identified as 34-year-old Edwin Charles Raxon, had allegedly threatened his neighbor with a 24-inch machete.

CSPD said when the suspect was asked about the incident by his father, who is considered an at-risk adult, Raxon allegedly grabbed his father by his shirt lapels and scared him. Officers searched the home and the area for Raxon but could not locate him…
