Highlands Ranch community members and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office gathered this week to pay tribute to a young hero. A memorial dedicated to Kendrick Castillo now stands seven feet tall in Civic Green Park, a testament to his bravery during the STEM School Highlands Ranch tragedy.
