(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A woman arrested for alleged violation of a protection order tried to break the windows of a police vehicle while in custody, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
CSPD said on Saturday, Nov. 15, a little before 10 a.m., police were called to a family disturbance in the 5400 block of Sunset Ridge Drive near Austin Bluffs Parkway and Stetson Hills Boulevard. As a result of the police investigation, they took a suspect, identified as Seantia McCray into custody for charges of violation of a protection order.
After McCray was taken to a police cruiser, she allegedly attempted to kick out the windows of the vehicle. Officers were putting leg shackles on McCray when she allegedly kicked one of the officers. The officer only suffered very minor injuries and was able to continue his duty…
