CSP: One killed in four-car crash in Teller County

(TELLER COUNTY, Colo.) — One person has died after a four-car crash on Highway 24 in Teller County on Monday morning, Nov. 17.

According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), troopers responded to Highway 24 east of Florissant just before 5:45 a.m. on Monday on a report of a multi-car crash. The road was reportedly icy at the time, CSP said.

According to CSP, the initial investigation revealed that a Dodge Ram 1500 was heading west on Hwy 24 when it began to slide into the eastbound lanes. The Ram hit an eastbound Hyundai Elantra head-on, and immediately after, an eastbound Jeep Gladiator also slid and hit the rear end of the Elantra…
