(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A man suspected of burglary and assault was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 20, after a standoff with police and the use of chemical munitions, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
CSPD said on Thursday at around 10:45 a.m., detectives with the Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force (VOFTF) were working to find Glen Frost, who was wanted on warrants for first-degree burglary and third-degree assault, and criminal mischief. Detectives got information that Frost was living in a shed with his girlfriend, Brittany Lopez, in the 500 block of Acoma Drive in the Security-Widefield area. Lopez allegedly had four misdemeanor warrants for her arrest as well.
Detectives coordinated with the Tactical Enforcement Unit and a K9 unit to conduct a “contain and call-out” at the home. CSPD said after chemical munitions were used, Lopez left the shed but denied to police that Frost was still inside…
