Mystery Car Caught On Ring As Monument Teen With Disability Vanishes

A tight-knit Monument community is on edge after 17-year-old Avery Hull, a Choctaw teen with a developmental disability, vanished Saturday night, reportedly seen on a Ring doorbell camera getting into an unknown vehicle and never returning home. Hull is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and about 117 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Family members and investigators say she requires medication and have urged residents to be extra alert as the search continues.

According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, law enforcement agencies can request a Developmental Disabilities Alert when a verified missing person with a developmental disability faces a credible threat to their safety. The CBI then coordinates the distribution of that alert to media outlets and police statewide, a system designed to move faster when someone who needs medication or specialised care goes missing.
