DENVER (KDVR) — Robert Dear, the man accused of killing three people at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic nearly ten years ago has died in federal custody.
One police officer and two civilians were killed in the shooting at the clinic on Nov. 27, 2015. Dear had been accused in the shooting and charged both federally and at the state level, though judges have repeatedly found him incompetent to stand trial.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate lookup lists Dear as deceased and a source also confirmed his death to FOX31. According to Bureau of Prisons records, Dear died on Saturday, Nov. 22, but a cause of death is not listed…
