DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado State Patrol and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office teamed up on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to honor a deputy who was struck and killed in the line of duty just under a decade ago.
The increase in patrols is to honor the memory and sacrifice of Trooper Cody Donahue, who was with the Colorado State Patrol. Trooper Donahue was killed while investigating a crash on Interstate 25 on November 25, 2016.
