A Colorado family’s world was shattered beyond comprehension on Monday afternoon when another vehicle crashed head-on into theirs, killing five people — four of them from the same family, and three of them children.

The horrific collision unfolded around 4:39 p.m. on November 24, 2025, along Highway 83 near Russellville Road in Douglas County, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
