COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Police in Colorado Springs and Fountain went on “accident alert” Wednesday morning after heavy snowfall in southern Colorado.
Under accident alert, also known as cold reporting, if there are no serious injuries or deaths, no suspected impairment, and no damage to public property, drivers can exchange information and report the crash within 72 hours.
