COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – One of Colorado Springs’ largest holiday traditions, the 41st Annual Colorado Springs Festival of Lights Parade, is this weekend.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. More than 80 organizations are participating, including floats, bands and walking groups.
The parade will begin at Tejon and Boulder Streets in Downtown Colorado Springs, and travel down Tejon Street, ending at Vermijo Avenue, by the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. According to parade organizers, the city says ongoing construction work on Tejon will not impact the event, and the street will be completely open for the parade on Saturday…
