(COLORADO SPRINGS) — French Bulldogs may be small in size, but they’re huge in personality — and they’ve quickly become one of the most popular pups for families looking for a loyal, cuddly companion.
FOX21’s Krista Witiak spoke with Dr. Amanda Williams from The French Bulldog of Colorado to take a closer look at what goes into raising a happy, healthy Frenchie and how families can feel confident and prepared before bringing one home.
Dr. Williams also brought along Nugget, a 12-week-old French Bulldog puppy who immediately won over the studio.
She explained that all of their puppies are raised right inside the family home, surrounded by kids, household noises, and the daily activities that help them grow into confident, social dogs. Each puppy also undergoes full genetic health testing and receives close monitoring from birth until the day they go home.
Williams also makes sure new owners feel prepared. Every family gets access to her “Prep For Your French Bulldog” online course, which covers everything from nutrition to home setup to what the first week will look like. Families also participate in a one-on-one exit counseling session to review care basics and make the transition as smooth as possible.
