Move over, Colorado Springs. Colorado has a new top boomtown.
The personal finance publication GOBankingRates analyzed population and income changes over eight years to determine which cities in each state experienced the most significant growth. The report compared data from 2015 to the latest five-year U.S. Census American Community Survey in 2023, and only considered cities with total populations between 25,000 and 500,000.
Last year, Colorado Springs was named the state’s biggest boomtown. But the title now belongs to the Town of Windsor in northern Colorado. According to the report, released December 1, Windsor had the greatest percentage increases in population and positive economic activity statewide…
