Pine Creek High School is preparing to launch a new tradition this December with its first-ever Winter Dance, an event Student Council members say will bring students together in a festive, memorable way. The dance is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will take place in the cafeteria and gym. Tickets are on sale for $15.
According to Student Council representatives, the dance will feature an atmosphere unlike anything the school has hosted before. Organizers have been working for weeks to secure decorations, plan the layout, and coordinate with administration to create an immersive seasonal experience.
Student Council member, Santiago Sauceda (11), described what the dance will bring to the floor. “Students can expect to see amazing decorations, nice food trucks, and a great time,” Sauceda said, who has been closely involved in planning. He added that school administrators played a key role in making the event possible. “Admin helped a ton with the approval of this dance and the funding.”…
