(WOODLAND PARK, Colo.) — The Woodland Park Police posted a report of suspicious activity by two unknown men in the Walmart parking lot on Highway 24 on Friday, Dec. 12, alerting the community to be aware of potential risk.
According to police, around 1 p.m. on Friday, a family was driving away from the store after shopping and noticed they were being followed by two men in a Mazda reported to have Florida plates. The family was able to lose them on backroads and reported it to the police.
Police reported that images of the two men and of the car had been captured on camera. Police learned that the men were making hand gestures to each other that could be signals, then following the family on foot and later in the car.
