COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – New reports from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) show hospitalizations are up 23% in the last week, after announcing a child has died of the flu in Colorado.
In the study, it says there were 334 hospitalizations caused by the flu during the week of December 13th. Now, health officials are urging families to take the proper steps to protect themselves as cases rise. We spoke with a physician from Mathews-Vu doctors’ office in Colorado Springs.
