COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – It’s been five months since Renee Gonzalez first told 11 News she received a notice in the mail about a development proposal for a drug and alcohol treatment center just a block away from her southeast Colorado Springs home.
“As of today, there hasn’t been any change to that building. So I don’t know, and I’m sure none of my neighbors know what’s going on,” Gonzalez said.
Developers originally told 11 News the center would be open by the end of 2025 or early 2026; now, they said they don’t anticipate opening until next summer, as they’re waiting for state approval…
