City holding public hearing on 2026 Annual Action Plan

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs Housing and Homelessness Response Department is inviting COS residents, service providers, advocates, and stakeholders to a public hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 7, regarding the 2026 Annual Action Plan.

This action plan outlines the priorities, programs, and funding allocations for the next year, with, according to the City, a focus on affordable housing, homelessness response, neighborhood improvements, and support for community-based organizations. The draft is part of the wider federal planning framework, working to identify how support from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be used to push housing stability and community vitality over the course of 2026.

The hearing will take place on Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. in room 102 in the City Administration Building, located at 30 South Nevada Avenue. The meeting also has an option to join via Microsoft Teams.
