(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Starting Jan. 1, 2026, two parking garages in downtown Colorado Springs will transition to a cashless payment system, which the City said is designed to enhance safety, reduce wait times, and provide a smoother experience for those parking in downtown.
The two garages are the Sahwatch Parking Structure, located at 255 Sahwatch Street, and the Costilla Parking Garage, located at 50 Costilla Street.
“This transition represents a meaningful step forward in how we serve our community,” said Brian Olson, Executive Director of Facilities & Strategic Infrastructure Management. “By implementing a cashless payment system, we are enhancing safety and efficiency while ensuring that patrons enjoy a faster, more convenient parking experience at our downtown garages.”…
