Pedestrian killed north of Downtown Friday

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car north of Downtown Colorado Springs on Friday evening, Jan. 2.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), shortly after 5:45 p.m. on Friday, dispatchers received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian near the intersection of East Espanola Street and North Cascade Avenue, east of Monument Valley Park.
