Heads up, drivers and pedestrians around Garden of the Gods Road: Construction for safety improvements is set to pick back up come Monday, Jan. 5. This next phase targets the intersections near Northpark Drive and Mark Dabling Boulevard, with a focus on enhancing safety, according to the City of Colorado Springs.
During the construction, motorists can expect to lose access to some of the eastbound lanes, but at least one lane will be stubbornly hanging on to allow traffic in each direction.
