GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A crowd gathered on January 9 outside Congressman Jeff Hurd’s office for a vigil honoring Renee Good, a Colorado native who was shot and killed earlier this week by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis.
Good, who was from Colorado Springs and later moved to Minnesota, was killed in a confrontation that federal officials said occurred after she attempted to use her vehicle as a weapon against officers. Federal authorities have described the shooting as an act of self-defense by the ICE agent.
