(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said after an investigation, it was determined that a threat against a school was allegedly posted as a joke by a minor who may face repercussions from both CSPD and the school.
According to CSPD, on Sunday, Jan. 4, at around 1:30 p.m., officers got a report about a threat directed at Russell Middle School. After several days of investigation, a School Resource Officer (SRO) contacted a suspect on Tuesday, Jan. 6. It was determined the post in question was made by a minor who claimed it was intended as a joke.
