CSPD: Home invasion suspect tries to stab victim with butcher knife

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Officers arrested a suspect after responding to reports of a home invasion on Friday, Jan. 16, in which the suspect tried to stab the victim with a butcher knife, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

At around 5:30 p.m., a call came in reporting a home invasion in the 4500 block of Gold Medal Point, near the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway. The caller reported that a man had forced his way into the home and tried to stab the victim with a butcher knife, according to CSPD.
