Winery, restaurant moving into shuttered Old Chicago

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A winery tasting room and an Italian restaurant are moving into a closed Old Chicago location on the west side of Colorado Springs.

The Old Chicago off Woodmen Road and I-25 will become a tasting room for Carboy Winery and Angelo’s Taverna, which offers Italian dishes like pasta and pizza as well as seafood options. The two brands have multiple locations in and around Denver, but this will be the first Colorado Springs location for either.

Carboy is a Colorado winery established in Littleton in 2016, according to its website. The winery has tasting rooms in Littleton, Denver, Breckenridge, and on the western slope in Palisade, offering a large selection of reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling wines.
