Win Without War, the network of activists and national organizations that paid for the sign that can be seen as one enters Fort Carson through Gate 20 via Mesa Ridge Parkway, says that the purpose of the billboard is to connect directly with soldiers at risk of being implicated in what they describe as “…unlawful orders” after “…the Trump administration reportedly ordered troops stationed at multiple Army installations to prepare to deploy to Minneapolis” and connect them with resources on their rights while in uniform.
“As the Trump administration puts our servicemembers at elevated legal, moral, and even physical risk with illegal overseas operations and unnecessary domestic deployments, it is more important than ever that troops know their rights and understand their options for serving honorably. We want our troops to know someone has their back, because the Trump administration doesn’t,” Win Without War said in an official release regarding the billboard.
This is a part of a campaign that the activist group started in September 2025 in Washington, D.C., and has since broadened to Fort Bragg, Camp Lejeune, Chicago, Memphis, and the U.S. Southern Command headquarters in Doral, Florida…
