The Colorado High School Activities Association has a new definition of the word “coach.”
Its legislative council voted to approve its explanation of “who is considered a coach” within the parameters of athletic-motivated transfers. The Feb. 3 meeting was at the Douglas County School District Legacy Campus. There were no vote totals.
The definition now includes club coaches, skill development coaches, performance trainers, technical instructors and conditioning specialists, among many others…
