Since its inception in August of 1979, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, more commonly referred to simply as the PRCA, has been headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. However, on January 26, the PRCA board of directors announced that it had voted to move their headquarters, including the Museum of the American Cowboy and Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The conversation about a potential move began in Summer 2025, Paul Woody, Chief Marketing Officer for PRCA, explained.
