Annual Bighorn Sheep Day at Garden of the Gods

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Valentine’s Day, you can take your valentine on an adventure at Garden of the Gods with its 21st Annual Bighorn Sheep Day and celebrate Colorado’s Iconic wildlife.

According to the City of Colorado Springs, on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the free family-friendly event will be held at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. The event provides a unique opportunity to learn about Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep and their role in the region’s ecosystem while experiencing one of Colorado Springs’ most iconic parks.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy wildlife viewing stations, live animal demonstrations, guided nature walks, educational booths, youth crafts, giveaways, and more. Additional parking is available at Parking Lot 1, located at the park’s main entrance off 30th Street.
