El Paso County had highest number of impaired driving deaths in the state in 2025

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – El Paso County had the highest number of impaired driving deaths in the state last year, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).

CDOT said that El Paso County had 29 total deaths related to impaired driving in 2025. Weld County was second-highest with 25, followed by Denver County with 22 and Adams County with 21.
