Firefighters rescue adventurous cat from apartment roof

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Crews from the Colorado Springs Fire Department’s (CSFD) Truck 8 rescued an intrepid explorer who climbed a little too close to the sun and couldn’t get down on Sunday, Feb. 15.

Truck 8 responded when a gray tabby cat was reported as being stuck on the roof of a three-story apartment building. According to CSFD, the four-legged adventurer “quickly realized it’s easier going up than coming down.

Crews climbed to the top of the building with a tall ladder and escorted the furry friend to the ground to reunite with its family, and the kitty was reportedly very happy to be back on solid ground…
