CSPD: Vehicle tied to burglary case found by officers, two arrested

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has confirmed the arrest of two suspects after officers spotted a vehicle with recent ties to a theft and burglary case.

According to CSPD, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, Stetson Hills Division officers were proactively policing in the 3600 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway, near the intersection of Austin Bluffs Pkwy. and North Academy Boulevard, when they spotted a vehicle allegedly tied to a recent theft and burglary case.

Upon contact with the driver, identified as Joshua Miller, and passenger, Saavanna Anderson, a search of the vehicle found apparent evidence from a burglary that happened a week prior. CSPD also reports that officers found evidence of a pattern of retail thefts during their investigation…
