CSPD looking for two prolific theft suspects

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is looking for two suspects after police tracked down the suspect’s vehicle on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

According to CSPD, on Tuesday at around 7:30 p.m., police got information that a wanted prolific retail crime offender was in the Home Depot located at 7120 North Academy Boulevard near Woodmen Road.

However, by the time police arrived, the suspect had left in a vehicle. CSPD said police used automated license plate readers (ALPR) to search for the suspect. According to CSPD, the system developed a pattern of travel for the suspect before they arrived at the Home Depot.
