(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A man who is suspected of stealing $15,000 worth of metal, along wth another suspect, who is accused of being associated with about 10 more cases of theft and money laundering, were both arrested by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
The Metro Theft Unit was conducting an investigative follow-up on the whereabouts of a metal theft suspect, identified as Taylor Sanford, on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at around 1 p.m., in the area of the 300 block of Iowa Avenue near East Platte Avenue, said CSPD.
Sanford had a warrant for the alleged theft of about $15,000 worth of metal from local businesses and city parks. Detectives also learned that another offender with an active warrant was in the same area, according to police…
