Suspect taken into custody related to February robbery of lottery tickets, landline phone in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Police in Colorado Springs located and took a suspect into custody Wednesday morning in relation to a robbery in February where cash, lottery tickets and a landline phone were taken from a business.

According to officers, 26-year-old Rakeen Ishmar was taken into custody after investigators obtained an arrest warrant Tuesday, along with a search warrant for his residence.

Police said a man dressed in all black and wearing a mask entered a store near Circle and Constitution Avenue on Feb. 12 and took an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as an assortment of lottery scratch tickets and the business’ landline phone…
